My Role
ATECH Electronika was looking to validate the idea of a web platform that would streamline communication between furnace users, sellers, and repairmen, allowing remote diagnostics and maintenance while reducing service costs. The client was open to doing a design sprint, which we agreed was the best approach to testing their idea.
The primary challenge was to design a solution that allowed repairmen to assess and resolve furnace issues remotely via an interface. The technology was already available, but we needed a web platform to fully leverage it. We followed design sprint methodology and completed the following steps:
The design sprint allowed us to move quickly from idea to validation, ensuring our solution was both feasible and user-friendly.
The design sprint resulted in a prototype that was tested with real repairmen and furnace sellers, providing valuable insights into user needs and product market viability. The success of the sprint led ATECH to move forward with development.
This project succeeded thanks to effective collaboration with ATECH’s CEO and employees, and the support from my fellow designer and workshop facilitator, Žiga Judar. Nejc Habulin further developed the UX/UI after the sprint, contributing to the final product.
