The Objective

EarthX aimed to enhance the Planetary Dashboard, designed to provide valuable geospatial insights across industries such as supply chain management, healthcare, real estate, and finance, while also captivating curious minds and everyday enthusiasts with global dynamics.

Despite its potential, it remained underutilised due to its complexity and unintuitive interface.

Addressing the Challenge

After reviewing the existing user interface and conducting initial user testing, we identified critical pain points. Our approach included the following:

• Streamlined navigation and added tooltips and FAQs to make the interface more intuitive.

• Enhanced the UX of filtering and search functions to simplify comprehension and spark curiosity.

• Developed an onboarding strategy featuring interactive tutorials to assist new users.

• Proposed a resource hub tailored for both educators and business professionals to provide ongoing support.

‍Project Deliverables

We enhanced the Planetary Dashboard's usability through a second round of testing, leading to improved user satisfaction and comprehension. Key improvements in navigation and data interaction were developed and handed off to EarthX’s in-house development team, who are actively implementing these updates to enrich user engagement.
